Fully Charged

Fully Charged LLC publishes education and fitness information. We are not a medical service. Our guides, programs and how-tos are general information to help you train. They are not medical advice. They are not a substitute for care from a qualified clinician who knows your history.
Check with your doctor or other licensed clinician before you start this or any exercise program. This matters most if you are pregnant, recovering from an injury or surgery, or managing a health condition. That includes heart, lung, kidney, blood pressure, metabolic or bone conditions. It also matters if you take medicine that affects your heart rate or balance, or if you have been inactive for a long time.
Stop if something hurts. Don't train through pain you can't explain. Work within your ability, build up slowly, use good form, and use the right equipment.
Stop now and get emergency help (call 911) if you have: chest pain, pressure, tightness or discomfort, including in your arm, shoulder, neck, jaw or back; fainting or near-fainting; severe or unusual shortness of breath; a racing or irregular heartbeat; sudden numbness or weakness (especially on one side), a drooping face, slurred speech or confusion, trouble seeing, loss of balance, or a sudden severe headache; trouble controlling your bladder or bowels, or numbness around your groin or inner thighs.
Stop the session if you get: pinching or pain in a joint; tingling or numbness in your arm or hand; dizziness that doesn't settle when you sit down; a joint that swells, locks, catches or gives way; you fell, felt a pop, or hurt yourself during a lift or a move.
Don't train through sharp, unusual or worsening pain. Stop, and get it checked if it doesn't settle.
If you're pregnant, also stop and call your pregnancy care provider if you have bleeding, fluid leaking, regular painful contractions, belly pain, a bad headache, chest pain, dizziness, muscle weakness that affects your balance, or calf pain or swelling (ACOG 2020). If you have chest pain, a sudden severe headache, fainting or severe shortness of breath, call 911 first, then your pregnancy care provider.
After recent surgery, stop and get it checked if you notice pain, swelling, redness or changes near the wound.
Fully Charged does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. Any check-in or screening questions in our guides are simple safety prompts. They are not a clinical assessment.
Exercise carries risks, including muscle strain, injury and, rarely, serious heart problems. You decide which exercises and weights are right for you.
Anything we say about outcomes is not a promise. Your results depend on where you start, your effort, your consistency, your genetics and your health.
Nothing here limits any right you have under Connecticut or federal law.
